When To Visit: The best time to go to the Caribbean is in their summer (December – April) for the warmest temperatures and mild sea water. However, thanks to the Caribbean’s tropical climate, you’re guaranteed warmth and sunshine no matter when you visit. Although do be aware of Hurricane Season (approx July – October/November).

Visa Requirements: A Visa Waiver Program (ESTA) is in place for citizens of several countries, which allows those citizens to enter the USA for a period of 90 days without a visa. However, with most countries, Visa requirements change often, and I urge you to check with the State Department a few months prior to your intended arrival.

Travel Vaccinations: There are no specific exotic vaccination requirements for visiting the Caribbean, however it is expected that you ensure your basic/routine immunizations are up to date and have received immunization for hepatitis A, hepatitis B, typhoid, rabies, yellow fever (no mandatory but advised for some countries) and other routine vaccinations. Please check with your own GP or travel clinic for specific details relating to the island(s) you will be visiting.
